There are many interventions to help children with AS advocated by different people. Some make dramatic claims of benefit. Some are very expensive. Back to top
The best advice would seem to be:
- whilst individual interventions will claim some eveidence for a basis of their success, no intervention has yet been able to offer sufficient evidence to formally satisfy the medical community of its benefit.
- but some interventions do seem to help with some children.
- always be wary of the claims. It's possible the children involved may improved anyway (e.g. by maturing, other changes in their life, passing of time, less stress, etc.). Back to top
